Here at ing candles, we don’t believe you should sacrifice health in the pursuit of “mysigt” (a rich, untranslatable Swedish word that means a coziness that brings contentment).

As it stands, the prevalence of paraffin wax candles on the market means that most homes are unknowingly filling the air their families breath with highly toxic benzene and toluene, the same toxins found in diesel fuel fumes (and may even leave you with levels of airborne heavy metals if there is lead in the wick, which there often is).

We couldn’t put a price on our family’s health, so I set out to create a company that made clean-burning, all-natural soy wax candles, wicks made of 100% cotton, and scents plucked straight from nature (none of those synthetic scents manufactured in a lab!). Just back to basics, like the generations of women before me have always done.
